The name Vuarnet has been synonymous with sunglasses for decades. Developed by Joseph Hatchiguian and Roger Pouillox in 1957, the skilynx lenses were perfect for skiing with the ability to see the sun without being dazzled and yet increase luminosity in darker conditions. Worn by Jean Vuarnet, winner of the gold medal in downhill at the 1960 Winter Olympic games in Squaw Valley, Hatchuguian and Pouilloux partnered with the French champion to market the glasses under his name, and a brand was born.
Europtics is pleased to bring back to Denver the Vuarnet sunglass line.
